no one ever told me...

Throwing a birthday party for a seven year old is exhausting...and we haven't even had it yet. After a week of running errands, important get togethers with my mom friends :) and trying to prep for this weekend's birthday party I am finding little time to relax and tinker in my craft room. So, between naps today I was able to sit for a bit and dig into my paper...
I love this yellow felt...as you may have seen it being used in several projects recently. It is warm and sunny.I created this gift box set of mini cards today, topping the box with burlap, fabric, wrinkle ribbon from Prairie Bird Boutique and paper.Tried to use as much color as possible...and believe I accomplished that :)

I am currently working on several new items to post in my shop on Sunday and Monday so hope you can stop by again. Off to finish the cupcake picks and cupcakes (and try not to sneak one for myself in the process).
