early bird catches what...

Back to early mornings of packing lunches, making the kids look spiffy and heading out the door with packed backpacks in tow. With a large cup of, not so warm, coffee by my side this morning I am waiting anxiously for a package of material today to get started on a few pillows, flowers, and ruffles that are sketched in my head and ready to be made. As the anticipation grows I am here to share one card and one little sneaky peek at what I have been working on... This is just a peek at what is to be released tomorrow by Whimsie Doodles. Many more amazing images this month which I have been enjoying quite a bit so far. Now just to share a card which I created this morning using a few flower stamps that have been rediscovered. I love digging into my stash and finding a set I haven't used for awhile. Now to go search for more...

I used a stamp set from Martha Stewart for the flowers and a little doily trim between the layers. Found a leaf stamp, a few sentiment stamps and bits and pieces of paper to give a little splash of red, white and blue.I am finding myself longing for a little...ok, maybe a lot...of change in my life. My husband...who is anti-change and seems to be satisfied with the same thing day after day...is fighting back and I am running out of reasons why this would be good for us all. I used to be someone who needed a change every two years...moving, rearranging, something BIG. Four and a half years later life has passed so quickly...we have been busy being parents. In search for a giant arrow to say "GO THIS WAY". Probably not likely, but guess I have to start somewhere.
