message in a bottle...

Give a little smile in a bottle? I recently purchased these little corked vials from Stampington and waited for an idea to pop in my head to use just one. With my scrap bin of felt, Papertrey Ink heart die and my love of Pinterest quotes...why not send a little message in a bottle. Printed the quote in six font, Consolas (love this type), and inked the edges. Created several little hearts to tuck away in the vial and topped it with a printed tag, ribbon and stick pin with felt heart attached. With these little hearts I then added them to stick pins and created a felt and fabric pin cushion...which then inspired the card. Love the chain of inspiration in creating sets. Why not create more than one item at a time? Use the same colors, embellishments and ideas to create projects in more than one type of material (i.e. paper, fabric, felt). This next project was quite fun for the Momenta blog today. A simple tutorial on how to take packaging and create your own chipboard die cuts.Created both a banner, using Papertrey Ink banner building dies, and mini card set.My final project to share today is for Precious Remembrance blog post from yesterday. Had fun with the Calendar Stamp Set using the little numbers to create a border around the card.Working on getting my most recently created items in my Etsy shop over the next few days. With my little man's birthday tomorrow I may take me a little longer than expected. Have a wonderful and inspirational day!
