shabby craze...

Yesterday, bright and bold...today, soft and shabby...
Just in love with them all. All of the amazing colors and materials and the way they can help you tell little stories about your day. Yesterday I was looking for a little sunshine indoors. My little one had been home from school for two days, fighting a little bug...and while he laid on the couch watching a movie I created something oh so cheery. Now, day three...the little temperature has broken, smile on his face, finally a meal in his belly and my heart is at peace. So while he was doing his catch up work...I worked along side crafting a little something to tell the story of the day...Created a little gift set with the same design in mind as created in the post below. A shabby chic card using a hand made fabric, paper and doily flower topped with a vintage button. Pink Paislee and Glitz paper, Precious Remembrance Calendar Stamp Set and Birthday Stamp Set, Prairie Bird Boutique wrinkle ribbon, lace, the pink felt from Fancy Pants (left over from die cut flower shape).Used the same material to create a new little bird friend found here. A very simple pattern and just so cute! Added a little crepe paper to a wire basket from Stampinton and embellished...of course. The tag, from Remember Me Emily, is stamped with Precious Remembrance Calendar sentiment stamps. Check out Precious Remembrance shop here . Also, you can see more of the first project by visiting their blog here.

What color or style mood are you in today? Happy crafting where ever you find yourself!
