accessorizes...

One more day until...

sleep in until (hopefully) a little after 8:00 every morning...
the swimming pool will become our second home...
all of our pillows will become a permanent fort somewhere in our house...
listen to two boys act like best friends, enemies, best friends and so on each day...
spend hours at the craft store searching for something they can paint or create...
just enjoy the summer!

So here it is.  The end of another year and what have I learned this year as a parent...make sure the kids leave the house each day with their hair brushed (usually), teeth clean (most of the time) and knowing that they are loved so very much (each day!).  As they continue to grow and interact with others...oh boy, the challenges we face with the making sure they stand up for themselves, respect others and just enjoy being a kid.  Both excited and scared about what next year will bring, but until then...it is time to RELAX!
Working with a Precious Remembrance today, creating some note tags based on this tutorial on the blog Love the way you can build these from stamps. Dove into my stash of Quickutz dies that have not been used in years.  A great project to do and keep these on hand for a gift, slip in a lunch box for the kids, card embellishments and I am sure we could all think of many more ways to use them.  I have been working on jewelry gift sets for the teachers this week and added the butterfly one to this package.
Wanted to play with felt a little more and created a necklace using the same method as shown in my previous tutorial. Enjoy your day and the start of summer!
Working a little more last night with digital elements.  Just something fun and girly, matching the project today.
