she sparkles...

Do you save your scrap pieces of paper?  If so, how do you store them?  After years of running an Etsy shop, design teams and really for the love of crafting...I have kept it all.  I have two very large and very full storage bins of paper and when I pull out a piece...and sometimes as small as 1" square the brand, collection, and original purpose still comes to mind.  This is just how crazy I am for paper and realizing that somewhere down the road I will have a use for it...which is why my cards usually have a mix and match of paper pieces.  Tried to imagine dumping a bin, but when I begin going through them it just makes me happy.  So I switch between bins each month and rediscover papers that I love and may have forgotten.

Before we are off on our first summer outing, wanted to stop in to share two cards.  The first using products from Pro31 Designs, Pink Paislee, The Ribbon Girl and Crate Paper.  The second card using Dear Lizzy, Chic Tags, The Ribbon Girl, Papertrey Ink and Precious Remembrance.  I will be announcing the winner of the giveaway on Monday.  Also, my shop will begin to fill up with embellishments, flower sets and much more in the next few weeks.  Stay tuned and enjoy those paper scraps on your project today!

Andrea! You are so right about all those scraps. I have a large box filled to the brim and try to use some of it as I go along! Thanks for sharing your designs. I love the burlap and the wooden button!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, Andrea! And how fun to hear about your creative process. No wonder your projects are such a fun mixture of goodies. I love to mix and match, too......but I do not have the memory you do. Once the bar code has been cut off, I have a really hard time remembering what the paper is. ;)

That's funny that you keep all your scraps, because I have wondered about why people would throw them away. Every class I have ever taken all the women throw away pieces of paper-some embellishments they didn't use-good items that they paid for. (Don't tell anyone but I have went around to each little garbage can attached to the tables and rescued items.) I am embarrassed when I have done this, but I can't stand to see them thrown away.
