let something begin...

Day 2 - The house is still and quiet as I woke early once again to a busy day of ___________ (fill in the blank).  Yesterday was spent with adhesive in one hand and paper in the other and have a strong feeling this is how today will be spent.  Tomorrow?  Not quite sure, but I can see it all now...broom, vacuum, laundry...oh the fun will really begin then. Just as I begin to think about getting out of the house, livin' it up I suppose, the idea of putting on something other than sweat pants and flip flops makes me think otherwise.  So, for now, I will enjoy this time I get to craft, clean and turn up the music inside this cozy little place I call home.

I absolutely love everything about Riddersholm papers, ribbon and now these amazing mulberry flowers!  Today just sharing a felt and fabric bird ornament and card featuring these items.  If you head on over to the Riddersholm blog today you will see a very quick and easy tutorial on taking the flowers from white to color in seconds.  Realized it had been a little while since I stitched a felt bird so I went for it.  Created the fabric buttons to attach the wings using the i-top tool and a stamped tag using Precious Remembrance Positive Thoughts Stamp Set.
Also sharing a different color palette as well today using Chic Tags, Pink Paislee, The Ribbon Girl and Epiphany Crafts.
I adore this type of tag.  It is easy to create with a few slices of your cutter and two snips of the scissors.  Any size, any color and as many layers as it can hold.  You can find the blog post HERE from yesterday. Off to get to work.  I will be working on packing orders and new items to list in my shop this weekend.  Stay tuned!  The gift certificate giveaway is still open until Saturday...head on down to the blog post below to enter if you haven't already.  Everyone is welcome to enter!
