no. 41

As mentioned yesterday, I love little monsters. They are fun to create, bring a smile to my face and so colorful.  So after creating a few digital ones I moved on to creating them out of paper.

Once I have enough time to capture a better photo I can share the entire shadow box creation.  This one I am calling "hangin' in the clouds".  Loving his little shoes.

Next on the crafting table, a girl monster.

Hope your Wednesday has a few smiles in it as well!

We are kicking our school year off here at home this week.  Shuffling papers, organizing books and the list goes on.

During those down moments I have been playing.

Although "free time" is limited this week, I have some things in the works to share hopefully by the end of the week and keep the daily creations coming.

Here is a little digital mock up of what I have been working on.
I love little monsters and hope you like them too as I will be sharing a few soon.

Until then, have a happy Tuesday!

rough seas ahead...

Working away this weekend on a few new daily creation projects.  Time to stay indoors, relax a bit, adjust to the eastern time zone again and enjoy some creative time.

Have a great weekend wherever you find yourself!

swim little one...

Tinkering around tonight and decided to do one more image while I get projects situated here.

Enjoy your Wednesday!

(Was off by a day yesterday....oops!)

I am waiting.

The sun will shine, the photographs will be taken and new projects will appear shortly (or that is what I am hoping).

We have a bit of rain, and although I love it right now (no watering the garden), there is little chance to capture new projects in a photo.

So...until then, a little digital to express how I am feeling at this moment.

Happy Tuesday!

I am back!  Oh yes, I am.

Back to a full house and a full schedule.

From Florida to Nevada and then up to Oregon, I saw a little of everything along the way.

A little recap:

-  Tried so hard to swim in a very cold Lake Tahoe.  Brrr!

-  Spent an afternoon with my family on a sailboat, first time for that, that had no wind to power it but was relaxing all the same.

-  Attempted to hike, one, two, three times but it was so busy that we decided to forgo the trek.  Maybe next time.

-  Laughed a lot!

-  Spent a week among mountains and pine trees....miss that.

-  Kayaked and tried to keep one of them afloat with a hole in the side of one.  That was funny, but thankfully no one went under.

-  Had some much needed down time!  Back to hug and love on my family yesterday all refreshed...well close to refreshed, slept a lot!

So that was the trip and now it is time to get back to creating, back to family and back to projects that are in need to being completed around the house.

Hope you are having a summer filled with a little adventure as well!

See you tomorrow with some new projects.

stichin sunday...

Oh, how does your garden grow?

A little shaggy and in need of a good weeding at the moment.  Maybe some love this weekend...just maybe.

Thankfully with stitching projects, and especially this week, weeding isn't too much of an issue.  Maybe you can can compare the occasional stray thread to a weed.

Here's to another day of listening to the sewing machine hum and many busy fingers shuffling through the craft table.

Can you hear that?

It is the house crying out to be cleaned after some neglect...yes, I admit it!

It is the cartoon channel playing over, and over, and over again in the background no mater where I go within these walls.

It is a sad (and may I add dirty) puppy staring me down waiting for me to grab his leash.

It is a stack of papers, receipts and cluttered desk that can cause an avalanche at any moment.  Watch out!

What to do, what to do?

Instead, I am waiting.

Waiting for my coffee to kick in, perk me up and help me accomplish something on a very long list of usual.

I have spent the last month settling into a healthy ME routine and in the process there were casualties from my list of priorities.

The piles of half completed projects are evidence literally stacking up of this new trend.

So, to delay it a few minutes longer I am sharing a new digi that came to be yesterday when I was also waiting around.

Here's to a day of accomplishments....ok, just one accomplishment would be nice.

Enjoy your day!
